Witex warranty
The Witex guarantees for laminate flooring for residential and commercial use are limited guarantees and subject to the following conditions.
The flooring must be laid and maintained in accordance with the installation instructions included with the product. Improper preparation of the sub-floor / surface floor, incorrect installation or incorrect use will void the guarantee.
Witex laminate flooring must always be installed on a substructure approved by Witex. The guarantee only covers installation on concrete sub-floors or in cellars if a vapor barrier approved by Witex is used as a base. In the case of installation on heated floors, a base approved by Witex must be used to enable the thermal flow.
This guarantee does not cover wear and/or damage due to incorrect installation, improper cleaning, care or maintenance, which is not in line with the instructions given by the manufacturer. Furthermore, it does not cover the incorrect handling or use of the product, accidents which result in scratches, impact marks or cuts in the product, cargo damage, modifications, changes to either the chemical or physical properties, repairs or maintenance carried out by a dealer not authorized by Witex or damage or wear caused by force majeure.
Damage resulting from excessive humidity is only covered if the product is used for residential use; the product must only have been exposed to the humidity for a limited period of twenty four hours.
The area affected must be visible from a standing position and cover an area of at least one square centimeter. Products will only be repaired/replaced on a one-off basis.
