While most laminates are made with softer woods, like pine, we design and engineer our laminate with 100 percent premium hardwood – cherry and oak.  Constructing our laminate with premium hardwoods gives our floors superior durability and an IC3 rating for indentation resistance – the highest in the industry. What does IC3 mean to me?

The flooring industry conducts tests to simulate the effect of dropping a variety of household items with extreme force onto laminate. Tarkett Laminate withstands these forces at the highest level without denting. Which is how we got our industry-leading IC3 rating for indentation resistance. So, our floors can be used in your home or at your workplace. In everyday terms, this means Tarkett Laminate floors are tough enough to withstand the wear, tear and high-heeled princess shoes your day-to-day entails.
